Recognising the vital link between Nature Based Solutions (NBS) and water, the URWAN project’s NBS catalogue is designed to emphasise these interdependencies. It considers the ecosystem services NBS can provide while also highlighting the importance of understanding the potential water requirements of these solutions. The catalogue is conceived as a user-friendly tool for final users, typically public authorities and other stakeholders, to easily understand the available nature-based solutions, along with their main benefits and drawbacks, providing a comprehensive overview.
